February 12, 2012

My aunt brought me a lot of very vintage Valentine's cards. Even better than her giving me really cool stuff like this is the fact that she says "do whatever you want with them"! Sweet :) Here are a few things she and I put together at shop for Valentine's Day.

Vintage Valentine's place setting. CUTE!

Close up - notice the antique 'flip' calendar. Love it!

Antique "flip style" calendar. Always makes me think of my grandmother!

Bowl full of vintage cards. It was so much fun reading these :)

One of my sisters, Janet, and my Aunt Margie are in this venture with me. They work for free (YAY for me!)  and they have exquisite taste! Margie does estate sales and has a GREAT eye as well as good taste! She can throw a flower arrangement together in no time. Most of the ones on here she and my other sister, Rhonda, have made. I couldn't do this without either of them!

Repurposed sewing cabinet from Margie and
flower arrangement made by Rhonda.

Made this one to sit outside with a flower arrangement from inventory, old cane bottom chair I bought from a friend for $5, and a piece of an old leg off a dresser? that her husband gave me.
 CHIC, CHEAP, and CUTE!

LOVE this precious place setting my sister made up for the shop. Had lots of compliments on it from people too!
